Atlantic provides custom coatings, soaps, and lubricants to meet IFI-140 and ASTM specifications for the entire range of the fastener and wire-forming industries. The Company's production facility includes a wide assortment of continuous and single-spindle wire-drawing machines. Our atmosphere annealing and two cleaning houses give Atlantic the capability to produce wire and rod with superior coatings and surface quality. Available coatings include lime, borax, phosphate, reactive lube and combinations of these coatings. Our specialty cleaning house also features pickling with hydrochloric acid and coating with copper and liquor. The variety of the wires, sizes and processes allows Atlantic to provide a wide range of products to warehouse services centers.
Atlantic Wire was founded in 1906 by the Hitchcock family of Branford, Connecticut.
